Click on Hosting Settings next to the domain you are configuring. Check the box for Custom error documents. Click OK. You will be taken back to the Websites & Domains tab and it should say "Information: The settings were successfully updated" near the top of the page. Once you have Custom Error Pages turned on, you have three options for setting them up: edit the existing error documents, or create new ones. Option 1: Editing an Existing Custom Error Page The easiest way to create your own error page is to edit the ones already there: Click on the Website & Domains tab (if not already on that page). Click on File Manager. Within the Root directory, click the error_docs folder (the text link or the folder in front of the link). Click on the error page you want to edit. For example, Not_Found.html. Use Plesk's built-in HTML editor to edit the error page: Click OK to save your changes. Once saved, your changes will take effect. No additional steps necessary. Option 2: Setting up Custom Error Pages Instead of editing the existing error pages, you can create your own with different filenames, or even specify that it redirects to a specific URL instead. Step 1: Creating the New Error Page Create a new page and upload it to your domain. It can be named anything, and can be in any supported language such as HTML, PHP, ASP and ASP.NET. You can use the File Manager in Plesk to create a new file, and then edit it, or create it on your own computer and then FTP it to the server.

[closed] up vote 2 down vote favorite I'm trying to configure Plesk in order to show website visitors a custom error html. The current hosted site is an ASP.NET site. This site http://serverfault.com/questions/131015/how-to-configure-custom-error-page-in-plesk-9-3-for-non-existing-folder shows its custom errors on error403.aspx and error404.aspx files. Now to comply with plesk, I've created error_docs with required files like forbidden.html, etc... When user try to navigate http://mysite.com/a_missing_page.aspx, the visitor is redirected to error404.aspx correctly. But when user try to navigate to a non existent directory http://mysite.com/a_missing_folder/ the site takes me to IIS 404 regular page. Plesk has Custom error documents activated on Web hosting settings. ASP.NET Error pages defined in web.config are showing fine. But it seems plesk wont show its custom html error documents. The bottom line here is about setting up a custom error page to a directory. Is it possible to do this using Plesk or do I have to change it manually on IIS? http-status-code-404 directory custom-errors share|improve this question asked Apr 9 '10 at 16:30 Junior M 15119 closed as off-topic by HopelessN00b Jan 14 '15 at 5:00 This question does not appear to be about server, networking, or related infrastructure administration within the scope defined in the help center. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.
