Dvd Shrink Cyclic Redundancy Error Fix
48 This post has been reported. I was trying to move a photo that I scanned to a folder cyclic redundancy error windows 8 in My Documents a long time ago. I was moving all the photos in that folder and they all moved successfully except this one. Every time I try to either move it cyclic redundancy error utorrent or delete it a box pops up with this error message: "Error deleting file or folder. Cannot delete cxTrish and John.JPG:Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." I then decided to just delete the whole folder, as it wasn't needed any more anyway and I get the same message. So how do I get rid of this photo and why is it doing that? I'd appreciate any

The cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is used to verify data written to the hard drive.

It's strange that a CRC error would prevent you from deleting a file but I would not worry about it too much. Unfortunatly I cannot suggest much more than booting into safemode and trying to delete the file again. I just started a scandisk and found bad index entries. BTW, the computer involved is running WinXP Pro SP3.
