I am cyclic redundancy check error on external hard drive OK as a user but not great as a fundi of fixing wrong things with the computer! Click Start, select Run 2. In the box, type cmd 3. Click Ok 4. In command prompt type chkdsk c: /f /r 5. Press 'Enter'. 6. You will be presented with 'would you like to run chkdsk at next boot' type y and press enter. 7. It's strange cyclic redundancy check that a CRC error would prevent you from deleting a file but I would not worry about it too much. Unfortunatly I cannot suggest much more than booting into safemode and trying to delete the file again. I can't view the picture anymore either, not that that's important since i was trying to delete it along with a bunch of other pics. Still, I can't remove this temporary directory until I'm able to delete that pic. ___________
