Cyclic Redundancy Check error with psp isos Discussion in 'Sony PSP - Mod and firmware discussion' started by FLEMOPARK, Mar 6, 2006. FLEMOPARK Member Joined: Mar 5, 2006 Messages: 5 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 At first i could play both the isos of Nba live http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/cyclic-redundancy-check-error-with-psp-isos.435763/ 2006 and NFL Street 2 : Unleashed. Then i formatted my stick to make space but now wen i try to put both of those games back on I can only put one at a time. So if nba live 2006 is on, Nfl street https://gbatemp.net/threads/cyclic-redundancy-check-error-while-copying-file.71124/ 2:unleashed gets a crc error and vice versa. Ive tried reformatting my stick over and over trying to get it to work. Is there anything i can do or can any one tell me what is wrong? Also some isos wont even work at all data error they get the CRC errors. Is this a problem with my memory stick? I have a Sony Pro Duo 1GB stick and my psp firmware is 1.5 if thats any help. I was sending the iso from my computer to the memory stick. Anways, i notice this. I bought the 4gb from ebay (and it says sandisk). I put the produo into the adapter into a card reader into my computer. The computer says it cannot format my disk and what's funny it can show me the files on the produo. When i put my produo (both sandisk & as well using the adapter) into my sony camera it gives me memory card error, but when I use my original 32mb psp produo into the adapter and into the camera it reads it perfectly. I have a feeling that sandisk produo cards are just giving me the problems FILIPINOY, Sep 10, 2006 #4 giuc Member Joined: Sep 19, 2006 Messages: 1 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 well i also bought a 4gb blue pro duo off of ebay and i am also having the same problem. i have a feeling that the cards r either fake or defective cause this can't be no

Country: Hi, Its a 2GB memory card stick due and after I fill about 1GB of it, I cant copy no more over it and gives me "DATA ERROR "cyclic redundancy check"" It was working great before so its not a fake. (dont give me that eBay stuff) But if I copy data from the memory over it, it works ok and goes over 1.5GB (copying files that are already in the disk on other locations of same card) I tried another machine, same error. Is there any software to diagnose Memory Stick Due? and show possible bad sectors? Thanks in advance. p.s. I'm using PSP's USB CONNECTION itself to connect it to my computer. test84, Jan 8, 2008 Top #1 Member xcalibur Gbatemp's Chocolate Bear Joined: Jun 2, 2007 Messages: 3,166 Featured Posts: 0 Location: Sacred Heart Country: I'd hate to state the obvious here but um... have you formatted the memory stick yet?
