= 137" when attempting to create an instance using DB2 v7.2 on NUMA-Q Technote (FAQ) Question When attempting to create an instance using the db2icrt command on NUMA-Q, with DB2 v7.2, you may receive a DBI1069E - "Unexpected error. Function = get_instance. Return code = 137". Cause DB2 has a dependency on certain C++ Runtime libraries. The db2icrt executable has a dependency on libc++.so.2 for example. If the library is not installed, then an error may arise. Answer Install the C++ Runtime for ISV support on NUMA-Q. A license for the C++ Runtime libraries are not required, unless the C++ libraries are needed for development.
