Defrag Error Mmc

computer and reinstalled windowsXp home.I tried to defrag and got the error :Faulting application mmc.exe, version 5.1.2600.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x73694c65. When I went to the Event Viewer, I see a lot of errors in this: Windows saved user MOPAR-MA94WOYQJ\Owner registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use. This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account. Would anyone know what I can do about these errors ? Thanks so much for any help. Windows Disk Defragmenter is a computer program included in Microsoft Windows designed to increase access speed (and sometimes increase the amount of usable space) by rearranging files stored on a disk to occupy contiguous storage locations, or defragmenting.
