Hello, I have the request could not be performed because of an i/o error an single lpar on p570 with 5300-05-06. Today i noticed lots of messages in the errpt log that keep on comming every single minute: LABEL: J2_USERDATA_EIO IDENTIFIER: wd diagnostics EA88F829 Date/Time: Wed May 30 13:25:13 2007 Sequence Number: 1868 Machine Id: 00C398DE4C00 Node Id: miranda Class: O Type: INFO Resource Name: SYSJ2 Description USER DATA I/O ERROR Probable Causes ADAPTER HARDWARE OR MICROCODE DISK DRIVE HARDWARE OR MICROCODE SOFTWARE DEVICE DRIVER STORAGE CABLE LOOSE, DEFECTIVE, OR UNTERMINATED Recommended Actions CHECK CABLES AND

Only change to that box was an upgrade of the FW to: Platform Firmware level: SF240_299 Firmware Version: IBM,SF240_299 Without shutting down the lpar and activating it again. lsvg rootvg looks OK, no stale PVs or anything. No PTFs or APARs applied to the OS after the SP6 of TL5. Anyone has any idea what this could be? Searched google without much luck. Thanks in advance. Log in to reply. The most annoying thing is i've had this problem several times before, same error, but this was way way back in vanilla https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=164157 Civ3 (though i'm fairly sure its happened in PTW as well) Any ideas? :-/ I've googled around and found stuff about other similar savegame corruption errors, but none specific to this (Citizen related) error. I can make the savegame available if some1 wants to have fun poking around to find the culpret invalid value... (i'm guessing its got something to do with all the scandinavian cities i just finished capturing ) Reply With Quote January 17, 2004,05:55 #2 http://apolyton.net/showthread.php/106590-DataIO-operation-System-Error-CTZN Gramphos View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Technical Director Join Date 08 Apr 2001 Location Linköping, Sweden Posts9,304 Thanks 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Local Date October 6, 2016 Local Time 15:05 Have you beed using any savegame editors or trainers with the said game?
