If you're not using 2.6.14 or later, tryupgrading before doing anything else. It's hard to tell just what is going wrong without more debugginginformation. If you turn on USB verbose debugging in the kernelconfiguration (CONFIG_USB_DEBUG) that may help indicate whether theproblem lies in the drivers or in the device. The fact that it works sometimes but not others indicates that it's adevice problem. On the other hand, if the device is bus-powered then itshould reset completely every time you unplug it.Alan Stern-------------------------------------------------------This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
