When I do I get a error 22 (direct draw failed to initialize). I've tried this in every compatibility mode and with all other compatibility settings such as 256 colour mode. diablo 2 directdraw vs direct3d Windows XP mode gives the same error. Diablo's video tester informs me that no compatible video modes are available (directdraw, direct3d and 3dfxglide). A friend of mine is having the same issue on a different system. My system is in my profile if that helps. Any solutions for this out there?
