Does anyone know what that means or what i need to do? I dont know alot about computers so i really dont know what to do. Any help would be great... Also do you have any virtual software like Daemon Tools? Diablo II was originally released in 2000... so perhaps using Windows 98 Compatability Mode might help. I suspect the registry entries you downloaded before are pointing to the wrong drive letter. If that's the case, it's a pretty simple fix: How to Check the registry and make sure it has the correct path to the cd rom. Click Start>Run> in the line type 'regedit' This will open the registry editor. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL any time you modify the registry as you can seriously damage your system!!! On the left panel the entry you are looking for is under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Blizzard Entertainment/Diablo II/ (Each of those directories are listed as folders in the panel on the left. Almost... i browsed the cd and right clicked the install file. Under properties it lets me select the compatibility, as in, for which previous version of window sthe program used to work, but it doesn't work for any of them... damn....
