When I downloaded the patch in question, it did not come with any supporting documentation. The info can be found in Patch.txt file inside your Diablo II folder. Code: For users that originally performed a 'Full Installation' and wish to run without the CD, all '.MPQ' files should be copied from the Diablo 2 CDs to the Diablo 2 directory. Most users will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the Diablo 2 Play CD and/or D2xMusic.mpq from the Lord of Destruction CD. Mac users will need to copy these music files and rename them to 'Diablo II Music' and 'Diablo II Expansion Music' respectively. So you need to copy D2Music.mpq and D2xMusic.mpq from the expansion disc. butchie, Oct 30, 2008 #4 kwits IncGamers Member Joined: Oct 30, 2008 Messag

God help me. diablo 2 please verify your play disc #1 Jul 8, 2008 LolygagerX LolygagerX View User Profile View Posts Send Message Zealot Join Date: diablo 2 play disc iso 7/4/2008 Posts: 67 Member Details Ok... Here's the deal... The recent Diablo 3 announcement got me really into Diablo 2 again... So what I how to play diablo 2 without cd did is I went into my closet and dusted off the old game and started to install it on my computer (I have the Diablo 2 Regular and Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction genuine cd's and CD-Keys, no copies http://www.diabloii.net/forums/threads/diablo-ii-lod-insert-expansion-disc.702163/ or cracks here). So I went to my computer and successfully installed Diablo 2 Regular (Full Install) with the 3 CDs that came with the box (Install Disc, Play Disc and Cinematic's Disc). And after installing it I opened the game and got all of the updates to version 1.12 I think it was. So then I got off Diablo 2 regular and then I wanted to install the Expansion (Lord of Destruction = LoD). So I put in my Diablo http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-misc-forums/diablo-legacy-forums/diablo-ii/71382-the-insert-play-disc-error-god-help-me 2 : LoD CD and it said "Upgrade to Diablo II : Lord of Destruction (800 MB)" And I clicked it and put in my CD key for LoD... Then afterwords it said "Please insert the Diablo 2 CD labelled "Play Disc"", So I did... And after about 2 minuets or less I could hear my CD Drive slow down and the little light on it would blink allot and then it said again... "Please insert the Diablo 2 CD labelled "Play Disc"". Now here is where I got a little confused and weirded out... So I looked at my other Diablo 2 Regular CD's and they weren't "Play Disc". Then I opened my CD drive and there it is... So I thought ("Hey why would it ask me for my play disc cd twice?"). I don't know why... But I have taken a screen shot of allot of my computer info and stuff in one. so you can check it out and tell me what you think and whether or not you can help me with this problem. And also I have a 128 Radeon 9000 Graphics Card. And my CD-RW Drive is a 52x32x52x, Which I DID get updates for. I've never had this problem before. But I also reinstalled windows XP for the first time again in 2 years about 2 weeks ago.
