Diablo's video tester informs me that no compatible video modes are available (directdraw, direct3d and 3dfxglide). A friend of mine is having the same issue on a different system. When I run the video test, it doesn't detect any video modes, when I try to boot it up, the error 22 diablo hourglass mouse icon pops up for a couple of seconds, disappears, and the computer acts as if i didn't try to boot it up. Of course, the OS is Vista and I've heard all the errors Diablo has.I've changed the compatibility to XP2 like most recommend, installed the newest DirectX, and updated all drivers. Is there anything else I can do to get it to run?User Info: bladelock3455bladelock3455 8 years ago#2From what I've read, this can occur if your graphics card is broken. Either lean about Glide Wrapper, or try running D2 in windowed mode (Adding -w one space after the last " in the D2 icon's Properties, specifically Target)Gamertag: A Tasty PancakeD2 LoD: TastyPancake E/SC/LUser Info: iowizardiowizard (Topic Creator)8 years ago#3Thanks! I ended up using windowed mode, not really sure how the other one is going to work out. I guess this will just have to be a temp fix till I can somehow get it to go full screen.User Info: sonnymoonshinesonnymoonshine
