Pervasive.SQL client maintains connection information to the server, and if the network connection is interrupted or reset for whatever reason, the internal connection state is discarded and a status 3006 is presented to the user.Restarting Service Accent will cause the Pervasive.SQL client to rebuild its internal connection state, but it is possible for Pervasive.SQL to rebuild the connection state dynamically and avoid the 3006 status by following the instructions below Solution On each client workstation, perform the following:Click Start, Programs, Pervasive, PSQL and run Control Center & DocumentationOn the right hand side of the window select Configure MicroKernel RouterIn the Properties for Microkernel Router select Communication Protocols On the right hand side, you should see an option for Enable Auto Reconnect, click to put a tick in this boxExit the control centre, saving the changes if prompted, then restart the workstation Related articles 3103, 3012 or 3014 error when trying to access a Pervasive database Can not link to the WORK table using Pervasive.SQL ODBC Can't start Pervasive Server Engine, Error 1069, login failure Configuring Pervasive.SQL ODBC Connecting to your Service Accent database via ODBC with Pervasive.V8 and later Error message "1607:Unable to install InstallShield Scripting runtime" when trying to install Pervasive.SQL Error message "DBU - Access Denied" when entering Pervasive.SQL license key How to close Pervasive.SQL tables manually How to configure Pervasive Backup Agent How to disable the Local MicroKernel Engine under Pervasive.SQL V9 Additional articles from the white papers Pervasive Backup Agent v3Service Accent - Installing Pervasive.
