Update your drivers regularly. Run the game in Administrator Mode to address any installation errors. Ensure your game is fully up-to-date by opening the launcher and allowing all downloads/updates to apply. Press Play when you see "Game is up to date". Run the repair tool to resolve issues with damaged game files. Many overlay programs can create instabilities in the games they're trying to enhance. A list of overlay programs that may be problematic with Diablo III can be found on our Diablo III Software Incompatibilities page. If you have an overlay program that does not appear on this list, it could potentially cause an issue and should also be checked. All Diablo III mods, regardless of what they do, are in violation of our Terms of Use and can result in a permanent ban. They can also cause the game to lock up or crash. Security software may interfere with the Update Agent. Disable or temporarily uninstall any security programs. Advanced Troubleshooting Overheating can cause your system to lock up and become unresponsive.Check for overheating components. Errors in your computer’s physical memory can cause the game to crash. Run the Memory Diagnostic Tool. Certain malicious software can lock down necessary data the game requires. Run a virus scan. Error 3007 or 316704 can occur when a computer is unable to maintain a stable connection to our Battle.net servers. Your router may become flooded with data and drop your connection to your ISP. Reset your network devices to address this. Joining General chat can help keep your connection active. It doesn't tell us why nor does it really provide any clues so basic connection troubleshooting steps should be followed.The most common issue is due to a poor wireless connection so if you happen to be using wireless, we really want you to try using a wired connection instead, even if it's only temporary so we can see if it solves it or not.
