Then i used the same internet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gorK50yRyaQ connection on another device and it was working fine on that device then i thought it seems something wrong with my Windows network settings and i performed the following steps to solve the problem, you should follow these steps to fix the problem. Try to troubleshoot the problem using Windows built-in Network Diagnostics tool. Right-click on the limited connection network/WiFi icon in status bar and select "Troubleshoot Problems" from menu. Diagnostics tool will take http://www.trickyways.com/2015/06/fix-diagnostics-policy-service-not-running/ some time to analyze Windows network settings and will show you the problem if found any and ask to fix that. If you are getting error message like "The Diagnostics Policy Service Is Not Running". Error clearly shows that the diagnostics service is not running and we need to run the diagnostics policy service and fix the problem. Press shortcut Windows+Q keys or Press the Windows key from keyboard and then type cmd, this will search the Command Prompt. Right-Click on Command Prompt search result and select "Run as Administrator" option from the menu. In the Command Prompt Window you need to run the following two commands one by one net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice net localgroup Administrators /add localservice If command executed successfully then you will see success message as show below. Type Exit and hit Enter to close the command prompt. Now, restart your computer to apply the changes. Now, troubleshoot problem again see step-1 above, i hope your problem will be solved now and your can enjoy internet on your computer. Check Diagnostic Policy Service Status You can also check the diagnostic policy service status form the Windows Services utility. Press Windows+R keys to open Run window, type services.msc and hit OK. In the Services window scroll-down to find a service with the name "Diagnostic Policy Service".

Diagnostic Policy Service is not Running Started by zeyzey017 , Oct 25 2012 07:40 AM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next Please log in to reply 16 replies to this topic #1 zeyzey017 zeyzey017 Members 45 posts OFFLINE Gender:Male Local time:06:54 PM diagnostic policy service Posted 25 October 2012 - 07:40 AM I always use wired network on my laptop , coz i didnt have any wireless network at home, but sometimes i use my wireless network so its working properly back then, one time i bring my laptop at office, and try to connect it via wireless and it seems i cant detect any wireless signal, i try to use troubleshooting so i can see whats happening, i just got a message saying "diagnostic policy service is not running" then i just look at my network adapters setting , i just turn them all to enable, including bluetooth, i just see one new adapter "virtual adapter" i think this comes from installing android via virtual box, i try to disable it but no luck, i try all what i read on google search, but all is no luck, one last thing i didnt try is to uninstall my driver and go to repair options on windows 7, my original cd is professional, but i upgrade it to ultimate, i didnt know if the repair disk will work. please any help. i do not want to have a clean install of OS WINDOWS 7 X64BIT ULTIMATE Samsung NP300E4A - S0CSA INTEL I5 6GB RAM 1TB HARDDISK NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 520MX Attached Files Capture.PNG 62.22KB 3 downloads explore
