I just bought a $9.99 CD (19 tracks) from iTunes and created a playlist for those 19 songs. I popped in a CD-R and pressed burn on the bottom. Error says CD Burner is Busy. I searched

I had force quit VMWare because I was too lazy to suspend Windows before quiting the app. This locked up the drive, and only a restart got it back. Just my two cents. RoeIncarnate is online now I am trying to burn songs from ITunes to a music CD. Resolved Question: I have a MAC OX 10. I am trying to burn songs from ITunes to a music CD. I get a message saying the burner is busy. How do I find the burner to see if there is something in it? Submitted: 9 years ago. Category:Computer Share this conversation Expert: RoeIncarnate replied9 years ago. The burner is your CD/DVD drive. If you have an eject key on your keyboard, press the eject key . If that doesn't work, try rebooting and then press the eject key. You could also start "Disk Utility" (in /Applications/Utilities/). In disk utility you should be able to see the CD/DVD on the lef, select it, then select menu "File->Eject". If it won't eject, try restarting the computer and then try to eject it. If you still have problems, please tell me what Mac you have. To get the info if you don't know it, select Apple menu -> About this Mac. Then click the "More Info" button. It should show the Hardware overview, tell me the "Model Name:" and "Model Identifier" listed.
