I have been trying to burn music to cd's and it will start and then stop and I get these error messages. "The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/162926-error-messages-4261-and-4200/ occurred (4261)." and "The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (4200)." I do not understand what I need to do to fix this. I burned 3 cd's yesterday and it worked fine. I have a Compaq Presario SR1250NX Desktop PC. Any help would be very much appreciated, I have a reunion that I have to take these to and I do not know what I am going to do. Thank you so much. Here's the deal, I'm trying to burn my itunes playlist to a cd. The pc acts like it is going to do something, and then says "unknown error 4200." What's going on? I have the latest XP drivers, cd drivers, itunes updates, etc. I even decreased the write speed to 1x. I know the software not found cd's aren't corrupt because they burn just fine on my laptop.
