I just installed a 1.5terabyte drive and it continues to tell me it cannot initialize because the scratch disk are full. It runs perfect on a 300gig, 200gig and 120gig hard drive. Having 12 gigs of RAM I knew this wasn't the case. I had three versions of Photoshop installed (4.0, 5.5 and 6). I uninstalled 5.5 and now it works fine. Thanks to the poster above. I deleted useless things from the disk that contained photoshop, and so freeing about 4gb of space and now i can use it as i did before. i hope this post helps you too...good luck with your work!
