This floppy disk can come in handy if the problem is being caused when either the startup record for the active partition or the files that the operating system uses to start Windows have become corrupted. To create a Windows startup disk, insert a floppy disk into the drive of a similarly configured, working Windows XP system, launch My Computer, right-click the floppy disk icon, and select the Format command from the context menu. Disk Boot Failure Insert System Disk And Press Enter Windows Xp
my Windows XP I get this message "Disk read error occurred press Ctl+Alt =Del to restart. Every time I restart I get the same message. Does disk boot failure windows 10 anyone have any ideas about the steps I should take in an attempt to fix this problem. I have searched the forums but am a bit lost about some of the suggestions. Any simply explained suugested solutions would be appreciated. It may also occur if there is a CD or a disk error diskette in the drive while starting the computer. An incorrect boot sequence, a newly installed hard drive, an unplugged hard drive or a damaged disk may result in the the disk boot failure insert system disk error. It is possible to fix the disk boot failure error by restoring the boot sector in the case of corrupt system files. If the disk is disk boot failure damaged, partitioning the disk and reinstalling the operating system will solve the problem.
