All of a sudden when Sabnzbd tries to create a folder or something is will error out and not be able to create it. I've done the file permissions "fix" and I'm doing it again right now. I then click to remove the failed one, it results in it disk error killing the new download with these errors: Disk error on creating file C:\Users\zoggy\downloads\incomplete\Fear.the.Walking.Dead.S02E05.C\59bca670474c482e9740c9389d42eea4.part01.rar Saving \\?\C:\Users\zoggy\downloads\incomplete\Fear.the.Walking.Dead.S02E05.C\__ADMIN__\SABnzbd_nzo_bnv9kq failed not sure if it is a glitter only bug (dont know if its passing nzb name to remove or internal nzo id) SABnzbd member Safihre commented May 10, 2016 It uses the nzo id, not the name! SABnzbd member shypike commented May 10, 2016 Weird, your second job's folder should end with .1 thezoggy disk error on commented May 10, 2016 the failed download went to an orphan job, i requeued it, that didnt work. so i went and found a new nzb to add.. when it started. i clicked on remove from history for the failed item. upon doing so it nuked the dir of the new download as well and it was aborted after 12%. SABnzbd member Safihre commented May 11, 2016 Requeing the orphaned job didn't work? Is that where it went wrong? thezoggy commented May 11, 2016 • edited so whats jacked up is that the 'failed' download actually completed... but said failed in sab and i didnt realize it actually finished. i moved all the completed sub items to a flash drive and later i moved the latest one i queued up after the incident. later I see that there ware two downloads on the flash drive (one with -1 and one without). so i wonder if its just a bug where it got flagged as failed incorrectly or never got set to not failed after the orphan job... or what... and then later when i went to remove the failed download it couldnt find it and nuked the matching named one? i have the logs on a flash drive

Quote Postby pabloh20 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:19 am Hi guysAplogies in advance for the long post!I updated the Sabnzbd and Sickbeard packages on my DS410 last night to the new synocommunity repo using a combination of the instructions in these 2 threads -viewtopic.php?f=190&t=52708&hilit=sabnzbd&start=15viewtopic.php?f=190&t=50593&start=30#p194791Everything seemed to go ok and I can get my configurations back, however when I started to test a download in Sabnzbd I initially got an error that it didn't have permissions for the incomplete folder. I have my donwloads pointing to /volume1/Downloads/SABNzbd and the complete/incomplete folders are in there. So I uninstalled Sabznbd, deleted the complete & incomplete folders and then reinstalled and followed the same process again. Then when I tested a download, I got the following error - Failure in tempfile.mkstemp, which I am guessing is still a permissions issue of sorts?I have had a search and I am confused (it's not hard!!) at what commands I need to use to change permissions on the complete/incomplete folders, or do I need to change permissions on the folder up a level?Just as extra info, each time I have reinstalled Sabnzbd, I have just started it up to make sure it works, but not run through the initial wizard before copying my configs back. Also, I have not installed NZB config yet, would this make any difference to the issues I am having?Any help much appreciat
