Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. I've tried removing, deleting and reinstalling Skype, https://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-archive/Disk-I-O-Error/td-p/1722987 but it doesn't work.I'm getting the Disk I/O Error on Skype 6.5 for Windows 7. I have reset, reinstalled and removed the foldersbefore installing again. But nothing has worked. How can I fix this? Solved! Go to Solution.
