My Laptop Says A Disk Read Error Occurred
I get this message "Disk read error occurred press Ctl+Alt =Del to restart. Every time I restart I get the same message. Does anyone have any ideas

I got this message. "A Disk Read Error Occurred Press CTRL+ALT+DEL a disk read error occurred vista To Restart Computer". Tried forever to get it fixed, and I couldn't fix it. Maybe try using the warranty? Computers do not fix themselves even if you give them 2 months. Warranties do expire however.If you can not even get in BIOS then that suggests the motherboard or power supply failed. Or the video card if it has one. Did a chkdsk and all is ok.Did a fixboot via the recovery console. It replaced the boot record.Checked boot.ini.
