Have you tried a System Restore to a point before you installed Dirt2? Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top mickeyblue Posts: 1521 This post has been reported. DIRT 2, installs all sorts of things because it uses DX11, but is able to run on DX10, XP does not use DX10 only DX9c. and its also a VERY GPU hungry game.what graphics card are you using? as PH said try system store before you installed DIRT 2. Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top studio Posts: 198 This post has been reported. I haven't been able to do a system restore prior to the date because there is no system restore points before installing the game that I can access (that I could find). Also the graphics card is: 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO. Thanks Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top mickeyblue Posts: 1521 This post has been reported. yeah thats your p

commands" Error: "VPU Recover has reset your graphics accelerator or it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands" Q: http://support.hornington.com/kb/question.php?ID=118 What should I do when I see this screen pop up http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01317954 suddenly? A: I suggest to turn off the submission of error reports, ATI doesn't care anyway and you save yourself a few unnecessary clicks (ATI CatalystGraphics SettingsVPU Recover). We already know there is a problem, and it's enough to see that your screen goes blank. Also display driver please un-tick the "Enable VPU Recover" check box. It should fix your problem.
