Posted by paulssss on 18 Jan 2002 19:59 Never mind I found it:You might try the patch that Microsoft has for FoxPro divide by zero 2.6. When I firstinstalled TMGW in my WIN2000 based PC I had a problem with a "Divide byZero" error. The FoxPro 2.6 patch takes care of this issue.Go to the following website for details: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q240/9/82.asp Like 0 Reply You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. You might also fire up your favorite browser and search on divide by zero. You'll get lots of hits, and one of them may be of use to you in resolving this issue. Happy computing! Many programs try to measure your computers speed by running a sequence of code and timing it. With a sufficiently fast machine, the time rounds down to 0 and you get that error when the program tries to calculate a speed. You might try a program like CPU Killer as a temporary solution (unfortunately the free version has to be restarted every 20min), and also check if there's a patch for the database package you're using. At a wild guess, if it's FoxPro 2.6 then there is a patch and I can email it to you next week if you have trouble finding it (we use it at work a fair bit). Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.
