Member Posts: 9 A DLNA protocol error (2114) has occurred in PS3 connecting to media server « on: November 10, 2008, 05:05:14 PM » Hi guys! has anyone got this error "A DLNA protocol error (2114) http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3/DLNA-protocol-error-2006/td-p/16466837 has occurred" when connecting PS3 to a media server using storage devices? i would like to hear it from you if you got any resolutions about this. I tried to search this error in the Internet and i was not able to get any work around to fix this problem. I already enabled the UPnP AV Server of the storage Enclosure and also on the router but still no good. I would love http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=2858.0 to hear suggestions from you guys.. Thanks... This error occurs over wireless only. i will try to replicate this in our laboratory and see what will happen. thanks for the suggestions. i know it will help me a lot...Routergirl Logged routergirl83 (, ") hilaireg Level

Posts 2,457 Gamer IDs DLNA Protocol error 2006 on PS3 Hey guys...for those who own a PS3, I need your help. When I originally set up my PS3, I could stream videos, music, photos, etc from my PC to my PS3. For some reason, I am now getting the "DLNA Protocol error 2006" when I dlna protocol error try to connect to my media server. It doesn't even detect the media server right now. I do have internet access though...that's not an issue. I am running Windows XP and using Windows Media Player 11. I have googled this topic several times, but I'm finding that I'm led all over the place...some of the info is a couple years old...It's just not working out. I can't pinpoint the exact time that this started, but the only two major things that have happened to my pc around that time are I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and I had a prolonged power outage where my internet required being set up again by the provider. Any suggestions? Thanks! Long may your big jib draw, me ol' cocky! Reply With Quote 02-03-2010,07:31 PM #2 SaskNewfie View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Stunned as me arse!
