It should be located in the appropriate folder in the following path- C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Nero. The name should be something like Neroburningromlog.txt.Open it in Notepad and delete your serial number and then post it here, please. When you made the burn, did you have "verification" turned on?Are you using v9.4.26? However, there are a few things to do first.First, go to the manufacturer's website for your drive and download and install the latest driver. You may have a new PC but who knows when the drive was manufactured and if the Windows drivers will work with it.If that doesn't work, try using a slower burn speed. romainbh1 View Member Profile Jan 18 2010, 07:10 PM Post #5 Newbie Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: 16-January 10 Member No.: 8,680,298 I've the latests drivers (DVD burner, sata,...), and I tried to burn at 4x : always the same error... I don't understand...Thank you very much for helping me! wither View Member Profile Jan 19 2010, 01:16 AM Post #6 Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 21,667 Joine

I'm just not sure what I should do with the computer set up I have. But here goes.... For the past couple of months I've been trying to get my machine to burn DVDs, ever since I became seriously infected with malware, I desperately need to back up my hard drive. So I got a local repair shop to fit me with a DVD writer when the repaired my computer, seemingly a good deal. Until i realize they had mistakenly put a DVD rom into my machine instead of a DVD writer. Doh So I took it back and they swapped it for the correct drive and fitted a Pioneer DVD-RW 111 D. But now I can't get that to work either! It's really annoying me and I feel like throwing the whole lot out of the window with myself not far behind it! I'm using Nero and some 8x DVD-R and I don't get why it keeps saying "DMA-driver error, CRC error Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)" every time I try to write a disk. Why is it so complicated trying to do something as simple as burning onto a DVD Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
