Everyday i need to restart the this server.This server hosted at ISP location. We accessing this server from branches.We unable to take access this server f rom branches (WAN ) , but sametime i can take mstsc from local ( LAN AT ISP ). So only option we have to restart this server. So we take control of other server ( ISP LAN ) location & from there we take mstsc of this server. Then restart the server.After that we can take control from branches. We tried all option at network side ,but no luck.In event viewer i got below mention error.Error Details :-Event ID : 11164 Source : DnsApi The system failed to register host (A) resource records (RRs) for network adapterwith settings: Adapter Name : Host Name : Primary Domain Suffix : DNS server list : Sent update to server : *.*.*.* IP Address(es) : *.*.*.* The reason the system could not register these RRs was because either (a) the DNS server does not support the DNS dynamic update protocol, or (b) the authoritative zone for the specified DNS domain name does not accept dynamic updates. To register the DNS host (A) resource records using the specific DNS domain name and IP addresses for this adapter, contact your DNS server or network systems administrator. Wednesday

one of the clinet pc's (win xp) I already did: flushdns, stopped started the dns service, and stopped/started the logon service on the DC. What can I do to fix this error? and whatr does this mean? Do the same to dns error 11164 the Forward lookup zone.
