The ISP-DNS-numbersshould be set in tab Forwarders of your DNS-server. DNS-server, rightclickServername, tab Forwarders. You should check the "enable" and add theISP-DNS-numbers there.Restart DNS-server.MarinaPost by SimonWe have two nics one to the network & one is disabled for now as we aremoving office were will have ADSL the router is in another office with nowway of connecting to the second nic.How do I check the bindingorder?1st nic has 1 & 2 ISP DNS listed in tcp/iplisted in the DNS forward I can't find our ISP DNS.What tab in the DNS forward am I looking for?An internal DNS error caused a failure to find the remote server.Hi AllHope some one can helpIn exchange \ server \ SMTP queues I get a blue icon with a white arrow Anyone know how to resolve.I have looked on microsoft support but the listing did not work.---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.535 / Virus Database: 330 - Release Date:

» Tue, 17 Jun 2003 18:53:30 Hi All, I have installed SBS 2000 on a new machine. The installation went OK, all services running fine and no errors in the eventlog,, or at least none that would explain why the SMTP sever can't send e-mails. The server is running fine for a week now and all services are functioning but users cant send emails. In the protocols section of Exchange under the SMTP sections under Queues there are a dozen of queues like "SmallBusiness SMTP connector - intersoft.net.au", etc. In the properties of these queues I found the following message: "An internal DNS error caused a failure to find the remote server." Other than this there is no reference to any problem, and the user doesn't receive any error messages either. Any clues? Drop to a prompt, and try pinging some public servers by name. ie PING WWW.MICROSOFT.COM PING WWW.IBM.COM What do you get?
