is showing a generic answer. To see a more detailed answer customized for you, type your e-mail address https://support.tigertech.net/iphone-relaying here: If you’re using an iOS device like an iPhone, iPad, http://recomhub.com/blog/apple-ios-9-how-to-fix-server-does-not-allow-relaying-email-error/ or iPod Touch, and you see an error message saying an outgoing message “was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying”, or if you have trouble sending mail but not reading it, this means that your device isn’t sending the correct mail does not username or password with outgoing mail. You can fix this in your device settings: 1. Go to the settings screen. From the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch main screen, tap: Settings Mail (for iOS 10) or Mail, Contacts, Calendars (for iOS 9 and previous versions) (your e-mail address) Then tap address@example.com next to “Account”: 2. Verify does not allow the “Outgoing Mail Server” settings. Scroll down the page to the “Outgoing Mail Server” section and tap SMTP, then tap the settings for the primary server (which is most likely marked “mail.tigertech.net”). Keep in mind that iOS devices have separate sections for incoming and outgoing mail; make sure you’re looking at the settings marked “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER”. The settings should look like the picture below. Important: Even though “User Name” and “Password” initially say “optional”, they are not optional if you want to send outgoing mail from this address on this device. Be sure to enter your full e-mail address as the user name, as well as your e-mail password. In particular, make sure the following “Outgoing Mail Server” settings are correct: Host Name: mail.tigertech.net User Name: your e-mail address (all lowercase) Password: your e-mail password Authentication: Password Server Port: 587 Click the Done button in the top right when you’ve finished making changes.
