The Print Processor Does Not Exist Windows 10
you are seeing the dreaded "Print Processor Does Not Exist", it means one of two things: Your PC has missing or corrupt print processor files. This is easy to fix if you have another 64bit PC unable to install printer the print processor does not exist windows 7 32 bit without the print problem. In SERVICES stop the PRINT SPOOLER From a PC that is working, copy the following files overtop of your problem PC's files: C:\Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\x64 from Take note that most often the problem I have seen is with WINPRINT.DLL and that file could be copied from any equivalent PC (same OS) as it is part of Windows Reboot . Your registry is missing some entries. From a PC that is printer does not exist on the computer windows 10 not experiencing this problem, what you need to do is export HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\PRINT\ENVIRONMENTS\WINDOWS X64\PRINT PROCESSORS\ and then import it into the problem machine, then reboot alternately you could create new keys and entries manually but that is a pain
Take note that most often the problem I have seen is with WINPRINT.DLL so if you are just guessing I would create that one manually. It is a simple STRING. . While the System File Checker is often a great fix, I have had less success with it, but if you are stuck, just launch a CMD as administrator and type SFC /SCANNOW . Then reboot when it is done. 7 x64, users printers are gone, try to reinstall printers, get error: Unable to install printer, the print processor does not exist The research I did suggested checking some reg keys for winprint, they were fine, http://www.urtech.ca/2014/03/solved-cannot-install-printer-the-print-processor-does-not-exist/ they also recommended copying the win32/spool folder from a known good computer, both worked to no avail. What happens when you restart the print spooler? Good luck! 0 Ghost Chili OP _Justin_ Jan 17, 2013 at 4:19 UTC When you reinstall the printer, do you select to "use existing" driver? If so I would choose to re-install the driver and see if that works. 0 Datil OP BSOD'D Jan 17, 2013 at 4:24 UTC Try uninstalling the printers from print management and then re-installing them Howto - http://theitbros.com/remove-windows-vista7-printer-driver 0 Cayenne OP Joe2233 Jan 17, 2013 at 4:41 UTC Uninstall old drivers and see if there is a universal driver available This on a Windows 7x64 computer right 0 Ghost Chili OP David9459 Jan 17, 2013 at 4:55 UTC Joe2233 wrote: Uninstall old drivers and see if there is a universal driver available This on a Windows 7x64 computer right I'd agree with uninstalling old drivers. We'e had problems with 64 bit computers and usually have to try all available drivers to see what actually works. Often NOT the PCL5 drivers, sometime the Universal drivers work, sometimes the Vista drivers work. I don't know why it is this hard. 1 Mace OP Rockn Jan 17, 2013 at 5:13 UTC Sounds like the print spooler service is stoppeand greatly increased scalability for larger networks Learn more CommunitySupportProductsGFI ArchiverGFI EndPointSecurityGFI http://www.gfi.com/support/products/Error-Print-processor-does-not-exist-when-installing-GFI-FaxMaker-printer EventsManagerGFI FaxMakerGFI FaxMaker OnlineGFI LanGuardGFI MailEssentialsGFI WebMonitorProduct DocumentationProduct http://windowsitpro.com/windows/i-get-error-quotthe-print-processor-unknownquot-when-installing-printer FeedbackContact supportContact usLog inGFI FaxMaker OnlineCustomer PortalPartner Portal Company ProductsGFI SecurityGFI LanGuardGFI WebMonitorGFI EventsManagerGFI EndPointSecurityGFI CommunicationsGFI MailEssentialsGFI ArchiverGFI FaxMakerGFI FaxMaker OnlineAll ProductsGFI WebMonitorGFI LanGuardGFI MailEssentialsGFI EventsManagerGFI ArchiverGFI EndPointSecurityGFI FaxMakerGFI FaxMaker OnlineCompanyCareersCareersWhy work at does not GFIPress centerIn the newsPress releasesBlogAbout usBrand PillarsAwardsCustomersLeadershipTrusted ExpertsContactWebcasts and eventsPartnersBecome a GFI PartnerGFI Partner Program: Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy Resell GFI?Find a distributorFind a resellerGFI Partner AreaGFI OEM PartnersGFI Technology PartnersDownloadsLanguagesEnglishDeutschEspañolFrançaisItalianoNederlands简体中文繁体中文Store Error: 'Print processor does not exist' when installing GFI FaxMaker printer PROBLEM does not exist You are unable to install the GFI FaxMaker printer due to the following error: Print processor does not exist This subsequently causes issues with document conversion.
