The error is "The document could not be printed." The documents used to print without difficulty. Any ideas? 27056Views adobe acrobat the document could not be printed Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 12 replies 1. Re: Print Error: The document could not be printed MichaelKazlow Jun 22, 2008 5:29 PM (in response to (Stephen_Holland)) You can try to print as image, that might work. Have you changed printers since the last time you printed the document? Have you changed versions of Acrobat since it was created? Can you try to print a version from a backup in case the version you are using has become corrupt? Mike Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. The PDF prints on other machines in my group but my machine gives me the "document cannot be printed" error. Alternatively, it will also generate the error "A drawing error has occurred." Acrobat Pro XI 'a drawing error occured'; error processing page. An internal error'! Had Acrobat http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=19077 Pro XI working without issue until installed Firefox 25.0 update. Then unable to open 'some' online PDF files with FF builtin PDF; Acrobat Pro or Adobe add-on (Firefox). drawing error Advice was that I needed Reader XI. Reluctantly installed. This solved the online issue but created another. I ran 'repair' in Acrobat to no avail. I could not open Adobe PDF files (dbl click) in Acrobat Pro despite selecting as the default. Uninstalled Reader and only after using CCCleaner to empty Temp AND defragging cld I document could not open larger (20mb) files... but only some... now have "a drawing error occurred" and "error processing page.An internal error"...This at least was a change from 'memory error". By the way Reader was able to open ALL so why am I having this problem when I have the latest Acrobat PRO? Any help greatly appreciated as I use all the time for my work. Bilal Ansari Edit Answer (for another -39 minute) When I get the "drawing error has occured" I let it finish and then do File>Save As> and choose either OPTIMIZED PDF or REDUCED SIZE PDF. It works for me; however, YMMV.S. I created a pdf by scanning a piece of sheet music on my Canon scanner. Opened it in Inkscape. Added (i.e. pasted) two images which I copied from MS Paint. Saved the result as a pdf (using all default options). But when I open the saved file Adobe says a drawing error has occurred. Even if I open the scanned image and make no changes and save the file as a 1.4 version file I get the same error. I know nothing about pdf architecture (or Inkscape). Would one, or some combination, of the pdf saving options (e.g.. "Convert texts to paths") help? I absolutely need a pdf file saved as my goal is to use the resulting pdf file in an iPad app which requies pdf files. Thanks much for any assistance anyone is willing to provide.Bob Top brynn Posts: 8707 Joined: Wed Sep 26, 2007 4:34 pm Location: western USA Contact: Contact brynn Website Re: Adobe says "A drawing error occurred" Quote Postby brynn » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:08 am Which Adobe product is giving you this error message?
