Had Acrobat Pro XI working without issue until installed Firefox 25.0 update. Then unable to open 'some' online pdf repair PDF files with FF builtin PDF; Acrobat Pro or Adobe add-on (Firefox). Advice was that I needed Reader XI. Reluctantly installed. This solved the online issue but created another. I ran 'repair' in https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-drawing-error-occurred-acrobat.html Acrobat to no avail. I could not open Adobe PDF files (dbl click) in Acrobat Pro despite selecting as the default. Uninstalled Reader and only after using CCCleaner to empty Temp AND defragging cld I open larger (20mb) files... but only some... now have "a drawing error occurred" and "error processing page.An internal error"...This at least was a change from 'memory error". By the way Reader was https://answers.acrobatusers.com/Acrobat-Pro-XI-a-drawing-error-occured-error-processing-page-An-internal-error-q118224.aspx able to open ALL so why am I having this problem when I have the latest Acrobat PRO? Any help greatly appreciated as I use all the time for my work. Bilal Ansari Edit Answer (for another -44 minute) When I get the "drawing error has occured" I let it finish and then do File>Save As> and choose either OPTIMIZED PDF or REDUCED SIZE PDF. It works for me; however, YMMV.S. Opened it in Inkscape. Added (i.e. pasted) two images which I copied from MS Paint. Saved the result as a drawing error pdf (using all default options). But when I open the saved file Adobe says a drawing error has occurred. Even if I open the scanned image and make no changes and save the file as a 1.4 version file I get the same error. I know nothing about pdf architecture (or Inkscape). Would one, or some combination, of the pdf saving options (e.g.. "Convert texts to paths") help? I absolutely need a drawing error occurred pdf file saved as my goal is to use the resulting pdf file in an iPad app which requies pdf files. Thanks much for any assistance anyone is willing to provide.Bob Top brynn Posts: 8709 Joined: Wed Sep 26, 2007 4:34 pm Location: western USA Contact: Contact brynn Website Re: Adobe says "A drawing error occurred" Quote Postby brynn » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:08 am Which Adobe product is giving you this error message? (On windows and especially 64 bit version there is a known bug.) Test the pdf if inkscape can re-open it, without an error. If the pdf itself doesn't look good/doesn't open, would suggest to try a previous release. Pdf save options should not relate to the problem as you described. Top bob12603 Posts: 8 Joined: Sun Jul 12, 2015 5:30 am Re: Ad
