I get this message: The connection to the remote host has been lost. Click Refresh to reconnect. After I hit "ok", I get this message: A FTP error occurred - cannot get remote folder information. Dreamweaver encountered an internal data error. Please try operation again. Now, if I uncheck "Use FTP performance optimization" under "Server Compatibility", I don't get that second message. Second, I installed Dreamweaver on my other computer, and it didn't work. Third, I downloaded Smart FTP and I was able to connect. Fourth, I tried to connect to the site at school, with their Dreamweave

I have ALWAYS used Dreamweaver for coding, designing, uploading, etc. but for some reason with this new server, it absolutely will not accept my username and password.
