Following Follow Website design I just uploaded my website onto the server from Dreamweaver, and yes everything in my manage sites area is correct for the dreamweaver mysql server because it tests perfectly correct, but once I type my website into the browser it keeps giving me this error: Not Found The requested URL / was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Dreamweaver CS5 and connect to MySQL. Make sure that every window is closed except Dreamweaver CS5. When inserting data into a database, or retrieving data from a database, it is best to have that database application closed. How to Connect Dreamweaver CS5 to MySQL Define a site in Dreamweaver. Once you have a site defined, create a new PHP page and give it a name, without spaces. On the Menu, click Window > Databases, then click the little ‘+‘ and select MySQL Connection. Give the Connection a name, such as connMyTest. For the MySQL Server, type in localhost. For the Username, type in root. For the password, type in the password you created earlier. Click the Select button and choose the database you want to connect to. Click the Test button to confirm your connection. You should now see the connection in the databases window with an expander ‘+'. Click on the Bindings tab next to Databases. Click the little ‘+‘, and then select Recordset (Query). Give the recordset a name, like rsMyRecords. Select the Connection you created earlier. Select the table from the database that you want to get data from. Select the Test button on the left side. If the connection is successful, you will see all of the rows from that table. Click ‘Ok‘. Click the expander button next to the record set and drag a field from your database over to your new PHP page. Save the page, run the page, and poof! You are displaying data from a database!
