Please load one from Windows>Workspace After that, Dreamweaver acted as if it was going to load, but never did. When I tried to close the program, it crashed. I followed the file path and I saw two files: My Workspace.xml 0kb and My Workspace 5kb. The second one has an unknown file type. I deleted the first file and renamed the unknown file type to My Workspace.xml; everything worked fine after that point. Why did Dreamweaver do this? This has happened several times, but I have not changed anything that should affect that file type. adobe dreamweaver adobe-cs5 share|improve this question edited Jun 24 '12 at 12:49 Oliver Salzburg♦ 56.1k35185245 asked Sep 2 '11 at 22:25 L84 1,664144370 add a comment| 6 Answers 6 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted Firstly, if you are

What I want to do is delete a corrupted .xml file. I successfully delete it but immediately after that when I open the Dreamweaver software again, a fatal error message appears saying: XML parsing fatal error: Invalid document structure, line: 1, file: C:\User\Tyler\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\en_US\Configuration\Workspace\Classic.xml I even tried by deleting the complete configuration file, but even then the same problem appears. Another strange thing that happens is whenever I try to find my corrupted .xml file from the prompt, I am unable to find it from the "en_US\Configuration\Workspace", but I always find it in the folder of Dreamweaver CS5 file. I don’t know what to do next. I simply can't get rid of this error message.I
