posted 2010-Apr-7, 4:52 am ref: whrl.pl/RcegWC posted 2010-Apr-7, 4:52 am O.P. ok ive got a problem with my nintendo ds wifi connection setup. not sure if this is right discussion area, please move if so. What im trying http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1419054 to do is, stablish a connection using the nintendo wi-fi connection through my ds lite. http://www.marioboards.com/index.php?topic=24138.0 i have been having trouble with this for ages and cant seem to think of anything else i can do to fix it. So I am asking all you smart whirlpoolians for help. and yes i am a girl. LOL ok so what i have done so far is: - (first thing anyone would do) on my ds lite, ds error search for an access point and selected my wireless connection and entered my WEP key. then it does a connection test. it gives me an error code 51300. cant connect. (and everytime i test the connection, it totally disconnects my internet, making all the modem lights turn off and flash before it restablishes a connection again after 2 mins, is that normal?) so i look up the error code and found out the code is ds error 51301 due to WEP key problems. first step says to check wireless configuration. ok heres details of my wireless configuration... on my Nb6plus4w wireless security : 64-Bit WEPAuthentication type: Shared KeyEncryption Keys: format 10 hexadecimal digits.Key1: default key for modem. (not sure if I am allowed to post this, no keys in other slots, just first slot.)Default Transmission Key: 1Transmission Mode: 802.11b/g mixed modeChannel: 6 Also Checked to see if my modem is using MAC filtering, its not! I checked and double checked these are the correct settings for my modem. I still cant connect at all on my ds. -(second thing i tried) Allowing TCP and UDP Traffic portforwarding on my modem 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443 yes they are open i have tested them. I sorta checked my firewall configuration. disabled and tried uninstalling... i had avg 8.5, ive now got the avast internet security version 5. something... I even tried manual setup on my ds lite. nothings working. but sometimes gives me another error code 51301, which is pretty much the same thing. So anyone else got any idea of what going on??, sorry this post is so lengthy :( if theres any other info needed, just ask. thanks in advance :) User #200615 3589 posts ronyh Whirlpool Forums Addict reference: whrl.pl/RcegWJ posted 2010-Apr-7, 4:58 am ref: whrl.pl/R

(Read 3596 times) Soundless Voice Banned Star Spirit Nintendo 3DS/DS WFC not connecting to an access point? « on: March 07, 2013, 01:38:48 PM » I've been trying to connect Pokémon Diamond and Animal Crossing: Wild World to the apartment wifi here (Since we don't have our own modem) to play online with a friend, but no matter what I do, I get the error code that says it can't connect to the access point. I don't know if it's my 3DS or the signal is just weak in general or what...Can anyone help? Logged I thought I'd give you guys one last chance, maybe that was a mistake. And I'm not sure about the signal since everything else can connect just fine. Logged I thought I'd give you guys one last chance, maybe that was a mistake.
