college library which was using AutoCAD 2010 and then saved it. When I got home i couldnt open the file in my AutoCAD 2009 app. I downloaded DWG Trueview and converted the http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/archive/index.php/t-46518.html file to 2007 format (in-place), but when I tried opening the file it would load up to 99% and then gives a "fatal error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffff Exception at 11c775dh" Has anyone https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/227635-fatal-error-unhandled-access-violation-reading-0x0f6c-exception-at-47c0b2h had a similar problem? I tried to convert it to all the different formats (2000, 2004, standard) still doesn't work. I would appreciate any help. I would really appreciate any help guidance! Car58584th Apr 2010, 03:35 amWhen you use 2010 you need to save to a lower file format with "save as" select the drop down menu near the file extension. Select 2007 format or lower. It is an add on to Autocad that gives you a new menu and allows you to open any Autocad version from within your autocad session without having to use a seperate programme. rkmcswain4th Apr 2010, 01:36 pm...but I really want the trueview conversion to work. All of them are seeing the same error messages (just with the number portions changing) doing a variety of tasks. The machines are a mix of Windows XP SP3 (32Bit - 4GB of Memory) and Windows 7 Pro SP1 (64Bit - 8GB of Memory) using a mapped drive location on a Windows 2008 R2 server (64Bit - Dual Quad Core - 8GB of Memory) with a gigabit network. Usually after the error Civil complains that it cannot continue and offers to attempt to save work. After clicking yes the application closes.
