it is installed already maximillianx How helpful is this to you? Average Rating 0 8474 views 11/03/2014 Software Deployment Autodesk DWG TrueView 2015 I'm attempting to install DWG TrueView 2015 64-bit on my system (Windows 7 SP1 64-bit), but http://www.itninja.com/question/autocad-trueview-2015-64-bit-is-asking-for-directx-but-it-is-installed-already it states: "Error :: Please install DirectX before installing DWG TrueView 2015 - English"I have DirectX 11 installed, so I'm not exactly sure what I should be doing here. Any ideas? I'm just testing the installation before I http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/error-merssageinstall-net-framwork-version-40-sp1/1e811e9d-f8f2-4f31-9ef0-aa164ea7f819 push out to my desktops. Pushing it via PDQDeploy gives me a 1603 error. 0 Comments [ + ] Show Comments Comments Please log in to comment Answers 1 The Autodesk installation media usually have a folder dwg viewer on them that contains the various pre-requisites required by the program. It is possible that the DWG Trueview app requires DX9 rather than DX11 or there is another missing component. As you plan to deploy TrueView by pushing to your workstations, how are you currently handling the test deployment? As with all the Autodesk apps I have packaged over the years, it is pretty much always necessary to install any missing pre-requisites before you install the dwg viewer free main program. Unless things have changed in recent releases, the pre-reqs are installed by the main MSI in the InstallUI sequence. If you attempt a silent deployment, the InstallUI sequence does not run, and consequently the missing pre-reqs do not get installed. So you need to identify the pre-reqs that are not already present on your workstation population and make sure each machine gets them first, before you deploy the main program. I'm trying this now:
