The first error message is - L-EC Uncorrectable Error. Does this mean the DVD is scratched? It plays ok on the computer and stand alone DVD player. The second problem is DVD Shrink is asking for VTS_03_9.VOB, but this file is not present on the original DVD. Tried also with "Overlapped I/O operation" disabled. Is it ec uncorrectable an encryption problem? Appreciate assistance in resolving the issues and pointing in the right direction. 1. --------------------------- DVD Decrypter --------------------------- I/O Error! Rotary, May 14, 2005 #2 manesh Member Joined: May 8, 2005 Messages: 5 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 Hi Rotary, thanks for the response, this is what I found: 1. DVD Decrypter ISO Mode also didn't work. It gave an error at 25%, and had to abort it. 2. No AnyDVD was not running in the background. I then tried DVD Rebuilder with CCE Basic with one *VOB corrupt file. It went fine, just took ages. I have not checked how the movie's turned out... I am d'ld Folder2ISO. Want to convert the DVD Rebuilder files to ISO image so I can use DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO image. I will let you know what happens.., don't have Nero Burning ROM. manesh,

I've tried it on my NEC dvd-rom and get the same problems. Can anyone help me out on this one? I've no problems with any other dvd. I've checked the dvd itself and there's no damage, scuff, or scratches at all. The condition is near perfect so it can't be a physical thing right? I've also tried the latest shrink and it'll give me an error just trying to load the dvd. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook Reddit! Anyone have an idea? Clean it real good (Try cleaning it with toothpaste), then try to rip it again.
