Hi there, I have a stubborn DVD that i cannot copy using any of the programs l-ec uncorrectable error imgburn listed above. With DVD Decrypter i get the message 'Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable Error' amongst other errors messages. so try washing the disc with soap and water or cleaning it gently with either isopropyl alcohol or methylated spirits. In addition to this, DVD Decrypter is very outdated now and can't cope with the latest copy protections so I'd recommend switching to more up to date software such as DVDFab, AnyDVD or BDlot DVD ISO Master.AnyDVD is a commercial ripper, DVDFab is a full movie copying package with a freeware ripping component and BDlot DVD ISO Master is a freeware ripper that generates ISOs. That is until the other day... when I ran into trouble with one of my discs. DVD Decrypter starts okay as normal and proceeds to rip the disc and then aborts with an error message. Having done my homework with what I've learnt from various people here on the AD forums, I know that a CRC error is or can be caused by a dirty or scratched disc so I've tried to clean the disc and tried again but I still get the same message as above. So, what's the difference between the CRC and CIRC error above and what does it mean? What's next to try - any help,
