From Windows 7 this component does not work. I found several article about this problem but no resolution. I read also about a fix file called fixmapi but i think it does not work. how can I resolve it? Thank you in advance. You need a 32bit email client that registers as a default MAPI provider for the ocx to work. If you have Outlook installed, you can test if its MAPI provider is configurated correctly by using Word's mail merge feature. Now my client has on his computer Windows 7 and sending email doesn't work anymore. He has also Outlook 2007. When you run Outlook, if its not the default mail Client, then I guess that it would ask you if you want to set it as the default client or not. Select Yes in that. If it doesn't ask, then you've probably disabled that message-nox earlier but you can set it through Options.
