The error indicates that the domain has not been added into Postini system or that the MX (Mail Exchanger) records for the domain are pointing to the wrong Postini system. Both scenarios cause the messages to be rejected. Troubleshooting Steps: 1) Check to see if the domain is in your Google Message Security (GMS) hierarchy: a) Go to Orgs and Users > Domains. b) Select your Account org from the Choose Org pull-down list and search for the domain name. 2) If the domain doesn't exist in your Postini structure, add it into any existing organization or create a new one. 3) If the domain does already exist, then verify that it is in an Organization under the correct email config. If so, then perform the following steps: a) Select the email config which handles the deliveries from the Choose Org pull-down list, then go to Inbound Servers > Delivery Manager. b) Click Edit. c) Click Submit. 4) If the domain exists, but is not under the correct email Server Configuration, then move the Organization or the domain. 5) This issue can also result from bad MX records. If the MX records are pointing to a Postini system where the domain is not registered, it will also return the same error to the sender. Solution: This means that the domain has not been added into https://support.google.com/postini/answer/1366874?hl=en the message security system, so the service will not accept and process emails for this domain. You can resolve the issue as follows: Check to see if the domain is in your message security hierarchy: Go to Orgs and Users > Domains. If the domain doesn't exist in your message security structure, add it into any existing organization or create a new one. Issue: Mail to a subdomain is bouncing with the error "554 No relaying allowed - psmtp." Symptoms: The email address is at a subdomain of a domain set up as email error 554 a domain alias. Subdomain stripping is enabled for the primary domain. Resolution: To resolve this issue, remove the domain alias link and add subdomain stripping to the domain that was previously a domain alias.
