This is the error that comes up 'the endpoint format is invalid'. The reason the endpoint format is invalid windows 2003 I am posting is because I have NEVER encountered this error. Very little info found on the web. I have managed the user to access safe mode with networking and connect via TeamViewer but I have found nothing. I have tried chkdsk(does not seem to perform it), system restore(also fails), but that error keeps coming up. Has anyone here dealt with such problem? Note: User is

"1.Log on by using an account that has administrative credentials. 2.Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 3.In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management 4.On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD value. 5.Type SystemPages, and then press ENTER. 6.On the Edit menu, click Modify. 7.Click Decimal, type 31000, and then click OK. 8.Quit Registry Editor." The mouse pointer is visible but does not move and the PC has hung. This happens after the XP window showing the green bar moving from left to right disappears and is at the point when the users that can be logged on are shown. I have noticed that during boot up my Microsoft Optical USB mouse is illuminated but as soon as the XP window with the green bar appears the light goes out, as if power to the mouse has gone. Also, my USB Alcatel Speedtouch ADSL modem does not power up properly, I get a flashing red light on the left hand l
