Entity Framework Error 3007 Problem In Mapping Fragments
mapping? up vote 1 down vote favorite I'm kind of stuck working out where I'm going wrong with the below entity framework mapping. What I've done is: a) created a Sqlite database (see below, noting Sqlite doesn't allow FK constraints) b) created a blank Entity Data Mode & then created the model from the database c) issue is then trying to add the Model association so it picks entity framework error 11007 entity type is not mapped up and uses the "ProcessNameId" column I've created in the database in the USAGES table. I've been trying to use the GUI Table Mapping pane to do this but it doesn't seem too intuitive. Issue - I'm getting the following error: Error 3 Error 3021: Problem in mapping fragments starting at line 85: Each of the following columns in table Usages is mapped to multiple conceptual side properties: Usages.ProcessNameId is mapped to Fork 1,129 aspnet/EntityFramework Code Issues 475 Pull requests 13 Projects entity framework error the underlying provider failed on open 0 Wiki Pulse Graphs New issue missing reference #3025 Closed Saotome38 opened this Issue entity framework error 2062 Sep 4, 2015 · 3 comments Projects None yet Labels None yet Milestone No milestone Assignees No one assigned 3 participants Saotome38 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3783117/entityframework-mappings-what-is-wrong-with-this-mapping commented Sep 4, 2015 I'm porting one services, from the preview in krl using EntityFrameWork 7.0.0-Beta4, to the new version with Dnx, and using EntityFramework 7.0.0-Beta6, i can't find the way to set the relation betwen my entities, i try to follow the examples but theres is always something https://github.com/aspnet/EntityFramework/issues/3025 missing. var alm = Builder.Model.GetEntityType(typeof(Almacen)); var fkAlm = alm.ForeignKeys.Single(k => k.ReferencedEntityType == tras); The error is: Error CS1061 'EntityType' does not contain a definition for 'ForeignKeys' and no extension method 'ForeignKeys' accepting a first argument of type 'EntityType' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) smitpatel commented Sep 4, 2015 Try replacing alm.ForeignKeys to alm.GetForeignKeys() Saotome38 commented Sep 4, 2015 i make the change to someting like this, i have to run migration proces tosee how does it generate the model. var tras = Builder.Model.GetEntityType(typeof(Traspaso)); var alm = Builder.Model.GetEntityType(typeof(Almacen)); var fkAlm =( (List add another entity that is related in the database to the first entity, Visual Studio will http://blogs.msmvps.com/kevinmcneish/2009/05/18/entity-framework-quot-problem-in-mapping-fragments-quot-error/ give you a "Problem in Mapping Fragments" error. For example, if you add a Northwind database Orders table using the EDM Update Wizard, it produces an entity https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26289036/LINQ-Error-3025.html that looks has an EmployeeID property that corresponds to the EmployeeID foreign key column of the Orders table. Next, if you add a Northwind database Employees entity framework table using the EDM Update Wizard, an Employees property gets added to the bottom of the Orders entity under Navigation Properties and a relationship between the Orders and Employees entities is shown on the diagram. However, there is still an EmployeeID property on the Orders entity. This is what causes the "Problem in Mapping entity framework error Fragments" error. In order to get around this error, you can simply remove the redundant EmployeeID property from the Orders entity by right-clicking it in the designer and selecting Delete from the shortcut menu.
