See the little silver plate that shows up eventually in the little window? Make sure it is clean. If that doesn't fix it, then you will need to remove the two little screws on either side of the flimsy plastic belt-protection plate on the photoconductor and then remove the plate itself. DON'T FREAKIN' TOUCH THE BUSINESS SURFACE OF THE ROLLER! While manually turning the roller,(by its edges,)gently pull the rubber belt to the right (with the roller AWAY from you). This will reposition the belt slightly so the sensor can actually see the little silver square referenced earlier.Put 'er together and crank 'er up. - Mtomato2 0 I have same problem. Transfer belt is on left side, sensor cannot find shiny place on him. I can move belt back to right but after 5-10 pages is problem back.. Alredy chanded whole drum unit and tough its ok (20pages printed WO problem). But now the problem is bask even with new unit... Clean.c) If the square is damaged, replace with a piece of tin foil.
