When I upload files to my site (via the regular File Upload box) when writing stories / my own content type, I get an HTTP Error 0. This started happening
Ajax Error 0
all of a sudden, and I've got no idea what caused it. I've uploaded files before with no issue, but I can't seem to upload them any more. The specific error I get is: An HTTP error 0 occurred. /upload/js So it looks like there's an error with the Upload module or something. Any ideas? Again, I'll gladly post this somewhere else if this is in the wrong section. Please let me know, as I've got no idea what the heck caused this. For me it also started suddenly - I had uploaded one pdf file, and when I tried to upload the next to the same node, I got this error. Here are some of the standard fixes that have been reported in this thread or elsewhere: Check the permissions of your 'files' folder, https://www.drupal.org/node/297035 make sure they're correct. Check PHP's memory_limit, max_upload_size, max_input_time and other limits and try increasing them to see if that resolves the problem. If you're using GD for images, try switching to ImageMagick... and make sure it's configured correctly. A quick check of your status report page should show which one you're using and whether it's working. Switching the upload progress display for a file or image field from a bar progress meter to a throbber might help. As I said above, though, there are literally hundreds of different things that can cause this error. The form contains an upload field, a textfield and a select dropdown. When the dropdown fires a change event, two textfields are loaded dynamically below the dropdown through drupal AHAH. This is based largely on: http://drupal.org/node/331941 The form functions correctly. However, if I happen to browse to a file from the upload field and then change the dropdown, I get the nasty 'http 0 error'. Note: I am not submitting the form. I am simply selecting the file to upload and then changing the dropdown to fire the change event. This problem is very much like: http://drupal.org/node/399676 However the solution provided in the same thread: http://drupal.org/node/399676#comment-1438662 doesn't work for me. I changed the drupal_json call to drupal_get_js call as mentioned in the solution comment above, but I simply get an error alert containing some JSON. I believe the problem is to do with the headers set by drupal_json as seen in the definition here: http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/includes--common.inc/function/drupal_json/6 Any help much appreciated. drupal ahah share|improve this question asked Jan 24 '12 at 18:33 λ - 1,1101824 Just a shot in the dark...do you have the Theme Developer module enabled? There are a bunch of threads around saying it has something to do with APC .. however for me what fixed it was changing the progress indicator on the file field from "bar with progress meter" to "Throbber" under the file field settings share|improve this a
