The machines work perfectly when i first add the printers, which are error 0x00000002 windows 10 shared on a 2003 print server, but after about 2-3 days they all of a sudden refuse to print. I've looked in to the problem further and have stumbled across a few error messages. 1.

The ports page is completely empty and when i try and add a port, i get the error 0x0000007b. 2. When i delete the printer and try and re add it before rebooting, i then get the error 0x00000002. The only temporary solution is to delete the printers and restart the machine, and re-adding them after the machine has rebooted. This works again for a short random period of time how to fix operation failed error 0x00000002 but the error always seems to reappear. It is also worth pointing out that all 10 new win7 pro machines are exhibiting the same issues. They are all in a server2003 domain environment. In my case, it was a HP printing driver. It exists although the driver should have been removed completely. Deleting does not work. So I got the "RAPR" tool, this indeed listed one HP driver. Deleted it, directory was gone and now it worked:) During the course of debugging I also got the problem that Adobe PDF did not work any longer. The event log complained that AdobePDF.dll could not be found although it existed (where is should be). Re-Installing Acrobat did not help. I purchased a Brother DCP-J385W http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3528/t/19277153 wireless printer to use with my desktop and laptop. Both are running Win7 Ultimate 64bit. The desktop computer installed the printer software with no problem, but the laptop will install everything EXCEPT the error 0x00000002 printer driver. I have tried everything I know. I have spent nearly a hour on the phone with Brother support reinstalling all their software, all to no avail. They say it is an OS error. I finally tried your All in One program, and still no success. I get various error messages depending on how I am attempting to overcome the problem. The most frequent is error code windows cannot connect 0x00000002. When I manually attempted to install the driver it reported "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it." I would also mention that I have attempted an install using a USB cable with the same results. One last thing, if I try an install using the USB cable connection, a Windows Update for my specific printer comes up. When it tries to install it fails with the same error code (0x00000002). I have followed Microsoft's advice for dealing with this WU issue and that has made no difference ether. I have written to this forum as although the All in One program has not solved my problems, I feel that the operations it carries out can not be too far away from what is needed to solve this issue.Thanks in advance.
