The exchange 2007 server still exists. I moved over one mailbox over, which is running outlook 2003. When I try to do a send and recieve I get an error message "Task Microsoft Exchange Server reported https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24945559/Outlook-2003-error-0x8004011D-on-exchange-2010.html error (0x8004011D) The server is not available. I also moved a mailbox that is running outlook 2007 and everything works fine. I can use OWA on either mailbox and can send and receive emails fine. I do get a warning in the event log that says the OABGen could not generate full details for some entries in the offline address list for address list \global address list. I also get a warning that says the OALGen truncated or dropped properties for "Username" in address list \global address list because they exceeded the configured size limits for the version 4 offline address list. The MAPI ids are 8008. Contact your administrator if this condition persists.'It is only on this one machine. I can log in with the accounts on any other machine. I can log in with Outlook Web Access from the problem machine. I am able to ping the exchange server from the problem machine by ip address and FQDN. I can ping the workstation from the server. I have tried reinstalling Office to no avail. Any suggestions you may have would be much appreciated. There were no errors in the server's event logs, and oddly enough all web-based access worked (Outlook Web Access, RPC over HTTPS). As it turns out, the fix was pretty easy - you just need to delete the Exchange profile on the machine. (Not, as mentioned in comments below, the USER profile - just the EXCHANGE profile). The easiest way to do this is to right-click on the Outlook icon in the Start Menu and open the Properties window. (You should see the screen below). Click on the "Show Profiles" button and you will open the window below. Then click "Remove". The next time you run Outlook you will see the initial setup wizard again. Note: You have to delete the entire profile - if you delete just the mail server from the profile the problem doesn't go away. Hope that saves someone else some time and energy... ETA: You may also be able to do this by running Outlook with the /firstrun switch - though I haven't confirmed whether this actually deletes the profile and resolves the issue. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue since on either Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. Update: Also, as Jim suggested in comments below, you should check to see whether the account is locked.
