Each user's Microsoft Exchange profile is the secondary http://forums.msexchange.org/Exchange%2FOutlook_2003_unable_to_send_locally%3A_error_(0x80070057)_%3A_Invalid_Parameter/m_180128400/tm.htm mail account in Outlook. The email address in Outlook is the same as the hosted external SMTP email address: username@domain.org. This is in their Active Directory user profile, Global Address Book and also a contact file in the global contacts list which is shared in a Public Folder Outlook. All the users at this office have the same thing. The trouble is that when a user tries to send a fellow staff menber an email from inside, it sits in the outbox and will not send. I re-entered the email in Exchange on the server and also tried recreating the contact in Outlook Shared Contacts and no luck. It will send just fine if you use the Exchange account to send, but not the POP3 account. But even if I go into her contact and choose her email from that same All Users list, it will not go. Error is: Task 'yourisp.com - Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.' This is able to be duplicated sometimes, not always,
gives me this error message when I try to send: Task 'pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.' I have never have this problem before and don't know how to fix http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/outlook-2003-wont-send-will-receive.2249862/ it. What are parameter values? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Sally in Texas Guest, Nov 20, 2005 #1 Advertisements Vanguard Guest "Sally in Texas" <> wrote in message news:... > My Outlook 2003 gives me this error https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/outlook-2003-error-message-254597/ message when I try to send: > Task 'pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : > 'Could not complete the operation. Vanguard, Nov 20, 2005 #2 Advertisements Guest Guest I am not saying this will work but try the following in outlook Tools >Email Accounts - select the account to change and next when you see the account details, select more settings and select outgoing server, then put a tick in the box "my outgoing server requires authentication" Then try again.... I use Outlook as my primary email, however. I only go to the Yahoo mail from remote computers. -- Sally in Texas "Vanguard" wrote: > "Sally in Texas" <> wrote in message > news:... > > My Outlook 2003 gives me this error message when I try to send: > > Task 'pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : > > 'Could not complete the operation.
