Error 0xc0000142 After Upgrading To Norton Internet Security 2008
I cannot download my Norton product If you see any error when you download your Norton product, or if your download did not complete, try to redownload your product from your Norton account. If you cannot find the Norton product that you want to download in your account, read I want to add my Norton product so it is available in my account. Redownload your Norton product Download your Norton product. If you are not signed in to Norton already, you will be prompted to sign in. Type in your email address and password for Norton, and click Sign In. In the Setup window, click Download Norton. Click Agree & Download. You may see the message "Trial period expired" if you install a wrong product. Make sure that you download the Norton product that has an active subscription. If you want to install a new product which is not registered to your Norton account, click Enter a New Product Key, and then enter the product key or PIN to begin the download. Type the product key and click >. Do one of the following depending on your browser: For Internet Explorer: Click Run. For Firefox or Safari: On the top-right corner of the browser, click the Download option to view the downloaded files, and click the file that you downloaded. For Chrome: On the bottom-left corner, click the file that you downloaded. If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue. Follow the on-screen instructions. Your Norton product is now installed and activated. If you cannot download or install the Norton product even after you follow the steps, select one of the following that best describes your situation: Download doesn't start or complete Start the install After you click Agree & Download, a file is downloaded to your computer. You have to double-click the downloaded file to continue the installation. If you have not located and double-clicked the downloaded file, do one of the following depending on your browser: For Internet Explorer: Click Tools > View downloads.
